Thank You Lindsay!

FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that the Board of Directors announces Lindsay Moore’s departure as Network Director of Family Promise of Genesee County. Lindsay has been a critical part of our organization from inception in 2011, serving on the Board of Directors for 3 years and as Network Director for the past 4 years. While we will miss her and her enthusiastic leadership, we wish her the best of luck in her career advancement as a Regional Director for Family Promise. We want to thank her for the 7 years of dedicated service, which involved many substantial accomplishments, including:

  • Helping open our doors to homeless families in Genesee County
  • Growing our Network to 14 Host and 18 Support congregations
  • Helping to engage our numerous community and business partners
  • Increasing Family Promise staff from two to six
  • Launching and sustaining numerous classes and programs for our clients
  • Partnering with continuum of care agencies and local school districts to grow our affiliate and identify those families that may be in need of our services

Please join us in thanking Lindsay for her unconditional commitment, positive energy and passion she has given Family Promise the last 7 years. She has been a wonderful asset and will be greatly missed by the staff, Board members and volunteers. We look forward to following the success of her career and are hopeful and excited for the next chapter of Family Promise as we continue to support our community in our critical work to end family homelessness. If you have any questions or concerns during this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at: boardpresident@familypromiseofgc.org

Sincerely,

Karen Vobach,

President, Board of Directors, Family Promise of Genesee County
